A lot has happened since launch. Thanks to your feedback, PathRaid got deeper combat, a base that visibly grows with you, a way to keep playing on rainy days and, finally, real push notifications. Here are the highlights.

🔔 NEVER MISS A DROP

• Real push notifications, in the Android app and in the browser

• Get a ping when your free gems are ready, your daily casino spin is back or your login streak is about to run out

• Turn them on with one tap on the home screen

🌧️ RAINY DAY? WALK VIRTUALLY

• New footprints button on the map: walk up to 500 m a day without leaving the couch

• The first 100 m every day are free, the rest costs a little gold

• Tap an enemy, event or loot drop nearby and the footprints button routes you straight to it

• Real walking is still the heart of the game, this is for the days you can't get out

🏰 YOUR BASE GROWS WITH YOU

• Every building gets a new look every 10 levels: from a wooden longhouse to stone keeps, fortress towers and finally gold-roofed spires

• Armory, Infirmary and Beacon now go all the way to level 30

• Other players can still raid the gold your base hasn't handed over yet, so collect often 😉

⚔️ DEEPER, FAIRER COMBAT

• Fights got harder but fair: armor still matters, but enemies always get part of their hit through, so every battle counts

• Swap weapons in the middle of a fight (it costs your turn, so choose wisely)

• Staves and wands now power your spells instead of your melee hits, a real path for mages 🔮

• Amulets give +1 to +10% magic damage or healing power, depending on rarity

• Epic and better armor can roll fire or ice resistance, or get it at the Magic Forge

• New late-game skills: Flame Ward and Frost Ward

• PvP now uses the gear you actually have equipped

🏆 MONTHLY PRIZES

• At the end of every month the top 3 of each leaderboard win gems

• Guilds compete too: the best guilds get a big gold prize paid straight into their guild bank

• Every member's steps now count for the guild

• Expect a higher number of prizes as more players enter the game 

👤 MORE COMFORT

• Sign in with Discord, now also inside the Android app

• New class avatars

• Market listings can now stay up for up to 7 days (longer listings cost a bigger fee)

📱 HOW TO UPDATE

• Android: download the new APK (version 1.3.1) from this page and install it over the old one. Your progress stays. Push notifications and the Discord login in the app need this version.

• Browser: nothing to do, pathraid.com is always up to date.
